Veteran crew chief Brad Parrott signs with Mason Mitchell Motorsports

(MOORESVILLE, N.C. – January 14, 2014) – Veteran NASCAR crew chief Brad Parrott has signed with Mason Mitchell Motorsports (MMM) to be the crew chief of driver Mason Mitchell (above) and the No. 98 Ford Fusion for the 2014 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season.

“Brad is going to be a key asset to MMM. With the knowledge and experience he brings onboard, I’m really excited about our future” Mitchell said.

Parrott brings more than 10 years of NASCAR Nationwide experience and 18 victories to Mason Mitchell Motorsports. The veteran crew chief has visited victory lane with NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers Jeff Burton, Greg Biffle, Carl Edwards, Casey Mears, Juan Pablo Montoya and, most recently, Reed Sorenson.

“I could tell during Brad’s first day that everyone was extremely excited and productive,” Mitchell said.

Mitchell is coming off of a successful rookie campaign in which he finished sixth in driver points in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards. During the final nine races of the season, Mitchell earned the second-most driver points, capturing four top five’s, nine top 10’s and two Menards Pole Awards at Berlin Raceway and the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, Ill. He finished second at each of the final two races of the season – at Kentucky Speedway and Kansas Speedway.

“We have a great foundation started and with the addition of Brad to the team 2014 will be one to watch,” Mitchell said.

Mason Mitchell Motorsports is a late model/ARCA Racing Series development team based out of Mooresville, North Carolina.
