Charles Evans Jr. plans for 10 races in 2013,
starting with the ARCA Mobile 200 March 9

(MOORESVILLE, N.C. – Jan. 23, 2013) – Charles (C.J.) Evans Jr. has announced plans to race in 10 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards events in 2013.

Evans will run for Team BCR with his first race being the ARCA Mobile 200 in March.

“The plan is to do 10 races in 2013 with Team BCR and Crew Chief Howard Bixman,” Evans said. “We have great marketing partners with us this season, with our primary partners, ETS and Casite. We're working hard to secure additional sponsorship, to be able to compete in more races this season. I’m looking forward to a great season and being a part of a first-class operation with a solid motor program with RoushYates Engines.”

Evans, 23, made three ARCA starts in 2011 and three in 2012. His best finish was a ninth at Toledo Speedway in 2011.

He began his career in go-karts at the age of 10 and moved into the Allison Legacy Series from there. He is studying mechanical engineering in college.

“CJ is an outstanding and talented driver that I always look forward to working with,” said Bixman, who will serve as crew chief and team manager. “CJ and his teammate Grant Enfinger tested at Mobile Speedway back in November and Daytona International Speedway in mid-December. CJ did a great job running competitive lap times with his teammate and we are excited for the 2013 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards season to start.”

Marketing partners for the No. 09 Ford Fusion include Elevator Transportation Services (ETS), Casite, Ford Racing, RoushYates Performance Parts, RoushYates Engines and Motorsports Rehabilitation Foundation.

The ARCA Mobile 200 is scheduled for March 9. Packages and tickets are available for the ARCA-Mobile 200 weekend by calling 251-343-2929.
