(DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - February 14, 2013) - Officials from ARCA and Kimberly-Clark announced today that SCOTT® Brand products will sponsor the 2013 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, Rookie of the Year awards program.
The SCOTT® Rookie Challenge will kick off this weekend with the Lucas Oil 200 presented by Menards at Daytona International Speedway. It's the 50th annual ARCA Racing Series event at Daytona and will be televised live on SPEED, starting at 4:30 p.m. ET.
First-year ARCA competitors will compete for per-race cash bonus awards and the year-end SCOTT® Rookie Challenge bonus of $10,000.

Last season, Alex Bowman edged Brennan Poole by four points in the rookie chase, winning the season finale at Kansas Speedway to secure the rookie of the year award. Bowman is competing in the NASCAR Nationwide Series this season. Drivers like Benny Parsons, the late Davey Allison, Frank Kimmel and Bobby Gerhart are past ARCA rookies of the year who went on to successful stock car careers.

To help kickoff the 2013 awards program, ARCA Racing Series rookies Justin Boston, Mason Mingus, Ricky Ehrgott and Kyle Larson were introduced to the media soon after Friday's qualifying.
Kimberly-Clark and it's SCOTT® Brand products are new to the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards racing program. In addition to the SCOTT® Rookie Challenge, Scott has become an ARCA Racing Series official sponsor and will be announced later this season as the title sponsor of an ARCA Racing Series event in 2013.
