CGS Imaging Hard Charger Award will go to Josh Williams at ARCA Racing Series banquet

(TOLEDO, Ohio – Oct. 14, 2013) – Josh Williams raced for three different car owners and with three different car numbers on his door this season. He finished fifth in the final point standings. And, by final count, he was also the CGS Imaging Hard Charger of the Year.

Williams entered the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards Kansas Lottery 98.9 with an eight-point lead over series champion Frank Kimmel. Williams started 14th and scored his 10th top ten of the season by finishing 10th, securing the season’s CGS Imaging Hard Charger of the Year honor.

The driver who advances the most positions during each race receives the CGS Imaging Hard Charger Award for that event, and the driver with the most points at the end of the season receives the CGS Imaging Hard Charger of the Year award. The CGS Imaging Hard Charger Award provides a $200 product certificate per race, and the year-end CGS Imaging Hard Charger of the Year receives a full race car wrap, which is valued at $2500.

CGS Imaging of Maumee, Ohio is the Official Wide Format Digital Printing Supplier of ARCA and the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards.

Williams raced in his family-owned No. 02 Southwest Florida Cable Construction Ford for much of the season. At Elko Speedway, he stepped into the Roulo Brothers Racing Ford No. 17. In what was going to be a start-and-park situation, however, turned into a full race for Williams when he qualified fourth. He stayed on the track for all 250 laps and finished sixth.

He also got a start in the No. 23 Allegiant Travel Chevrolet when regular driver Spencer Gallagher had to sit out a race with a concussion.

Williams scored his season’s best finish of second at Chicagoland Speedway. He improved from ninth in 2012 to fifth in 2013 in the final point standings.

For his CGS Imaging Hard Charger honor, Williams will be honored at the Dec. 14 ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards post-season banquet in Indianapolis.
