(MOORESVILLE, N.C. - December 11, 2012) - It's a holiday dilemma faced by many: What do you get that special race fan that will give the most enjoyment?
Any fan of the sport has at one time thought of how their name would look as a sponsor on a race car in a televised race. This year, Empire Racing is offering a unique opportunity for gift giving that can make that experience a reality.
For only $100, fans may choose to honor that special someone with a personalized dog tag decal on the rear decklid of Empire's Restore-Recover-Renew Tour to Daytona ARCA car, Daytona ride-along truck, or Daytona race truck. The team plans to participate in the Daytona ARCA 200 - opening the ARCA Racing Series' presented by Menards 61st season - as well as the next week's NASCAR Truck Series season opener.
A portion of each sale will be donated to a military charity.
Each dog tag decal will be 3" x 1" and can be used to honor past or current members of the military, a business, or race fans. For each personalized decal purchased, the team will furnish a commemorative certificate. Empire Racing will list on its website those who are honored, and will also send a custom-made replica dog tag of the logo for gift giving as well.
There are two ways to purchase a dog tag decal:
- Visit the Empire Racing website. On the front page, a link will direct customers to a PayPal account.
- Send a check or money order, payable to Empire Racing, LLC, to 304 Performance Rd., Mooresville, NC 28117.
Customers must enter the name or organization to be honored and the mailing address for the commemorative certificate and replica dog tags. This can be done in the "Notes" section on PayPal, or included with the check or money order.
