McDowell Gearing Up For Homestead Finale

mcdowellcandidtoledo07.jpgCORNELIUS, NC (11-15-07) - Michael McDowell's dream season will conclude with this Saturday's NASCAR Busch Series season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. In a year that saw McDowell raise the bar for fellow ARCA RE/MAX Series competitors and a deal struck with Toyota-backed NASCAR team Michael Waltrip Racing, McDowell looks to make one final indentation on the 2007 season.

His last two Busch Series races at Texas and Phoenix saw respective finishes of 20th and 14th. Certainly not bad for his first career starts, but the 22 year-old, soon- to-be NASCAR rookie wants more out of his fledgling program.


Bryan Silas Ready To Cap Off NASCAR Season

MIAMI FL (11-15-07)--It's been a little over a month since racecar driver Bryan Silas has competed in a NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) event, but for the 20-year old Silas, the break has been a welcomed one. In addition to running a limited NCTS schedule, Silas just completed his first full season in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. Silas however is ready to dust off his uniform and readjust his shoes in preparation for Friday's NCTS season finale, the Ford 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Theriault Makes Change for 2008

The 21-year-old Bristol, Conn. native announced today that she has left the team and is actively pursuing opportunities in NASCAR and ARCA for the 2008 season.

"It was a tough decision," explained Theriault. "GLOCK provided me with the opportunity to showcase my abilities and for that I'm extremely grateful. But there comes a time when a change is necessary for continued growth.

McDowell to make NASCAR Busch Series debut at Texas
CORNELIUS NC (1-11-07) - ARCA RE/MAX Series Rookie of the Year Michael McDowell will make his NASCAR Busch Series debut this weekend at Texas Motor Speedway. A former Star Mazda Series champion, McDowell will pilot the No. 00 NAPA Auto Parts Toyota from the Michael Waltrip Racing stable for the final three races of the Busch Series schedule.

McGilton Wraps Rookie Year with Top-10 Finish at Toledo

TOLEDO OH (10-18-07)--Phillip McGilton climbed out of the No. 47 SI Performance Ford Fusion for the last time this season following Sunday's race at the Toledo Speedway. McGilton fought hard for the tenth place position in the Hantz Group 200 by Belle Tire following a spin early in the race that trapped the No. 47 a lap down to the leaders. McGilton completed his rookie year in the ARCA RE/MAX Series in the sixth position in the 2007 ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship points.
