ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards
(TEMPERANCE, Mich. - May 24, 2013) - It's not often a Minnesotan gets to race at his home track in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, but that'll be the case when the Akona 250 presented by Federated Car Care rolls off the grid Saturday night, June 1 at Elko Speedway.

(5-22-13) - Venturini Motorsports No. 15 crew chief Kevin Reed has been fined $500 and placed on disciplinary probation through December 31, 2013, for violation of ARCA Rulebook Page 7, Section 3, Items 3 and 10 which reference conduct by team members toward ARCA Officials and conduct detrimental to the sport. The penalties result from incidents during qualifying at Toledo Speedway Saturday, May 18.

(CONCORD, N.C. - May 24, 2013) - Fresh off his career best finish of eighth in last weekend's NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Charlotte Motor Speedway, John Wes Townley will return to the same track Saturday afternoon hoping to better his efforts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series History 300, driving his No.25 Zaxbys - Venturini Motorsports Toyota.

has become an official media partner for the Akona 250 presented by Federated
Car Care at Elko Speedway June 1. It will be just the second ARCA Racing Series
presented by Menards race at the track.

It's certainly a sad time for the ARCA and Kentuckiana racing community, as one of our own, Jerry Norris, passed away at approximately 1:30 p.m. today.
Jerry, who raced for over 55 years, finished 19th in the season opening Great American Stock race at Salem Speedway Fueled by the Hoosier Lottery on April 28th.

TOLEDO, Ohio (May 21, 2013) -- Frank Kimmel was singing the praises of "the AARP crowd" Sunday on Toledo Speedway's frontstretch after Ken Schrader became the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards' oldest winner, with Kimmel retaining his point lead with a third-place finish in the Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care.

Ken Schrader raced his way back into the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards history books Sunday at Toledo Speedway with his 16th career series victory in his 61st series start. By doing so, Schrader, who led a whopping 163 of 200 laps, surpasses Iggy Katona (winner at Daytona in 1974 at 57) as the oldest winner in series history.
