ARCA Racing Series presented by RE/MAX and Menards
KANSAS CITY, Kansas (October 5, 2009) - - Even though Patrick Sheltra did not claim his ninth top-10 finish of the ARCA season last Thursday, Sheltra's performance in the Kansas Lottery 150 was a stupendous one concerning all the headaches the team faced at Kansas Speedway.

Kansas City, KS (10/02/09) - ARCA RE/MAX Series and RAB Racing driver Tom Hessert competed in the 9th annual Kansas Lottery $150 Grand at Kansas Speedway Thursday afternoon where Hessert and the No. 20 Cherry Hill Classic Cars team finished 14th on the 1.5-mile paved oval after battling through the 103 lap event.

Tim George Jr. nabbed yet another top-15 finish in ARCA RE/MAX Series competition on Thursday at Kansas Speedway, overcoming early troubles to impressively notch the finish.

Justin Lofton finished second on Thursday at the Kansas Speedway, which wrapped up the Hoosier Tire Superspeedway Championship Challenge for Eddie Sharp Racing. The finish also left 23-year-old Lofton 15 points to the good in the point standings with one race remaining in the ARCA RE/MAX Series season.

Kansas City, Kansas (October 1, 2009) - Alli Owens was a picture of consistency at Kansas Speedway. After starting 28th in the 43 car field, Owens methodically worked her ElectrifyingCareers.com machine around the 1.5-mile track to claim 12th-place in the Kansas Lottery 150. Her performance marked her fifth top-15 finish of the 2009 season and her career-best performance at a mile-and-a-half track.

KANSAS CITY, Kansas (10-3-09) - Parker Mania must be gaining momentum. After winning the ARCA RE/MAX Series Kansas Lottery 150 Thursday and clinching ARCA's prestigious Bill France Four Crown award in the process, Parker Kligerman, the 19-year-old Penske Development driver, took another giant leap today, winning the pole for Saturday's Kansas Lottery 300 in his first NASCAR Nationwide Series attempt. The Wesport, Connecticut driver, who has taken the ARCA RE/MAX Series by storm this year with a season-high eight victories, will start alongside Cup veteran Kyle Busch in today's Nationwide Series race at Kansas. Greg Biffle and Brian Vickers will follow the Kligerman/Busch duo in row two for the start.

KANSAS CITY, Kansas (October 1, 2009)-Wildwood, Missouri's Jesse Smith was fastest among 40 drivers participating in a two hour long practice session at Kansas Speedway on Thursday afternoon. Smith, in a No. 25 Lloyd's BBQ Chevrolet prepared by Venturini Motorsports, posted a top speed of 167.942 mph (32.154 seconds) around the 1.5-mile speedway. He was followed on the practice charts by Beau Slocumb in the No. 32 Wolfpack Rentals-Red Line Oil Toyota prepared by Win-Tron Racing (167.942 mph/32.288 seconds), Parker Kligerman in the No. 77 Cunningham Motorsports Dodge (167.183 mph/32.30 seconds), Hal Martin in the No. 4 Cunningham Motorsports Dodge (166.708 mph/32.29 seconds) and Brian Ickler in the No. 52 Brianickler.com Toyota (166.641 mph/32.43 mph).

KANSAS CITY, Kansas (October 1, 2009)-ARCA RE/MAX Series and Kansas Speedway Officials have made alterations to scheduled on-track activities for the Kansas Lottery 150 race weekend. Track crews continue to work on the racing surface after heavy rain showers saturated the ground Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.

KANSAS CITY, Kansas (October 1, 2009) - - Officials from Sheltra Motorsports and their primary marketing partner Buffalo Wings & Rings jointly announced today that the two have joined forces for the month of October and November to raise awareness of Breast Cancer through Sheltra Motorsports's racing program beginning with Thursday's ARCA RE/MAX Series Kansas Lottery 150 (No. 60 Dodge Charger) and expanding to Saturday's NASCAR Nationwide Series Kansas Lottery 300 (No. 81 Dodge Charger).

KANSAS CITY KS (10-1-09) - The originally scheduled (9-11 AM CT) ARCA RE/MAX Series practice is delayed this morning at Kansas Speedway because of overnight and morning rain showers that fell in and around the Kansas City area. With an improving forecast, the rain has stopped and safety crews are on track with jet dryers. Outside of the morning delay, the ARCA RE/MAX Series is still on schedule for a morning practice with Menards Pole Qualifying presented by Ansell to follow at 1:00 PM local Central time. The Kansas Lottery 150 is live on SPEED at 4:00 PM CT/5:00 PM ET. In addition to live timing and scoring at ARCAracing.com, all on-track activity today will featured in live streaming audio at ARCAracing.com via the ARCA Racing Network.
