(TOLEDO, Ohio - August 13, 2010) - NASCAR driver Kyle Busch visited with fans, signed autographs and took 150 lucky fans for a ride around Toledo Speedway in a bus Friday night, prior to the racing action. On the speedway, John VanDoorn took the win in the Klotz Synthetic Lubricants 100 presented by Spray Power for the CRA Late Models.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - August 10, 2010) - The CRA Super Series will make its first of two straight visits to the Buckeye State Friday in the Klotz Synthetic Lubricants 100 Presented by Spray Power at Toledo Speedway. Friday's event will be the 12th CRA Super Series event that has been contested on the fast half-mile ARCA-sanctioned track. NASCAR star and part-time CRA Super Series competitor Kyle Busch will be on hand for Friday's event, but he will not be able to race because of his commitments to his NASCAR Sprint Cup race team. Busch will sign autographs and give numerous lucky fans a ride around the track on a school bus.

(TOLEDO, Ohio - August 10, 2010) - Four special events on the Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway schedules are offering advance reserved seating as the 2010 season winds down. Both speedways will host events in September, while Toledo will also offer two additional races in October.

Toledo Speedway August 19 for Placer's Club Event
TOLEDO, OH (8-6-10) -- The weekly Thursday night Placer's Car Club Classic Car Show at Toledo Speedway will host the "American Graffiti" Tour Thursday, August 19. The tour will include the appearance of Cindy Williams and Paul LeMat, both of whom starred in the 1973 film.

Flat Rock, MI (8-7-10) -- Defending champion Jeff Maran notched his third consecutive victory in Saturday night's 250 lap Enduro race at Flat Rock Speedway. Maran will go for the sweep in the championship race, a 300 lap contest, September 18. Tom O'Leary IV/Charlie Williams took the entertaining Figure 8 train race, while David Price was the top dog in the ARCA 4 Cylinder main event.

TOLEDO, OH (8-6-10)-- Kevin Shirey zipped to the win in the 30 lap Buckeye 305 Winged Sprint Car feature at Toledo Speedway Friday evening. A good-sized crowd was on hand to also see Jim Froling, Corey McCaughey and Greg Studt visit the Sunny D Winner's Circle on a beautiful summer night.

TOLEDO, OH (7-30-10)-- A large crowd gathered for Kid's Night at Toledo Speedway on a beautiful Friday evening. Each child up to age 14 was admitted free and received a free hot dog, chips and a drink, courtesy of Sherwood Foods, Bar S Hot Dogs, Seyfert's Snacks and the Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group. Ron Allen, Jeremy Vanderhoof and Eric Huston notched feature wins and visited the Sunny D Winner's Circle in post-race festivities.

Flat Rock, MI (7-31-10)-- Trenton, MI native Paul Pelletier steered his way to an exciting victory in the Butch Giles Memorial 100 for the ARCA Moran Chevrolet Late Models Saturday night at Flat Rock Speedway. The event was also the 5th and final leg in the Allegiant Air Gold Cup Series, contested between Flat Rock and its sister track, Toledo Speedway. Grand Rapids, MI driver Mike Root won a thrilling duel with Scott Hantz to repeat at Gold Cup champ that was decided at the stripe on the final lap of the event. Henry and Jeff Giles, representing their family and Giles Auto Body, presented trophies to the victors.

(FLAT ROCK, Mich. - July 31, 2010) - Despite inclement weather in the region surrounding Flat Rock Speedway, the track has not experienced any rain or severe weather as of 11 a.m. Eastern today. Tonight's Butch Giles Memorial 100 race program is on schedule and will proceed as scheduled until further notice.

Saturday, July 17 was the annual 100 lap feature for the Street Stock A division. Tim Moore won the biggest race of his 20-year racing career taking over the lead on lap 71, leading the remaining 30 laps. "I thought I was racing Chad (Guinn) for second. Dan (Ford) was way head of us, and thought he was the leader ... didn't know he was down laps. I want to thank my family and girlfriend. And my crew for helping get the car back together after the wreck last week. I want to thank my neighbor Kurt for buying my tires for tonight ... I wouldn't be here without him," said the driver of the Moore Lawn Care, Dow Engines #83, who did multiple doughnuts afterwards on the frontstretch. Tim has taken the points lead from Dan Ford Jr.
