Jackson Aims to Continue Truck Roll at Kil-Kare

(XENIA, Ohio - July 6, 2012) - Kil-Kare Speedway will be the host tonight for the ARCA Truck Series, as Danny Jackson looks to continue his hot start to the 2012 season.

Kil-Kare, just east of Dayton, is one of the most unique tracks in any discipline of racing. Even at just 0.375 mile, no two turns are alike, and an argument certainly exists over the track having five turns or nine. Yes, it's that unusual, and the venue should provide a thrilling fifth event of the year for the series.

Practice will begin at 4:30 p.m. today, with qualifying following at 6. The Ed & Co. Racing Supplies 100 will start at 7:30.

Kil-Kare has hosted the ARCA Truck Series eight times since 1999, the first season for the series. Jackson has won three of the four races this season and leads rookie Cody Quarrick by 120 points atop the point standings. He is the first driver to win the first two races of a Truck Series season and the second to win three of the first four. So far, Jackson has won every pole this season, already matching the series record for poles in a year.
