(TOLEDO, Ohio - July 10, 2012) - Two years ago today, Tom Hessert won for the first time in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards, at Iowa Speedway. Tonight, he'll look back at that race and look forward to this Friday's Prairie Meadows 200 at Iowa with "Inside ARCA" host Charlie Krall.
Hessert, pictured with his father in Iowa's Victory Lane after leading 126 of 200 laps that night, will be the featured guest on tonight's program, which will air at 7 p.m. on ARCARacing.com.
Hessert's win in 2010 came for Cunningham Motorsports, and he finished a career-high third in the championship standings that year. This season, he stands sixth - 25 points from the top five - in his second full year driving for Ken Schrader Racing.
ARCA CRA Super Series driver Kenzie Ruston, the only woman to win a race in that division after a victory last year at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, will look ahead to upcoming action in the Super Series. ARCA's own Don Radebaugh will also speak with Krall to provide his unique and unmatched look at ARCA's history, part of the celebration of ARCA's 60th Anniversary Season.
Krall hosts "Inside ARCA" every Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET, unless scheduled otherwise. The show previews upcoming action, reviews recent races, and covers the latest in the ARCA Racing Series and related properties with drivers, crew chiefs, officials, and more - the movers and shakers that have kept the stock car series running through the end of its sixth decade.
