(TOLEDO, Ohio - July 17, 2012) - Alex Bowman became the first three-time winner this season in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards by holding off Grant Enfinger at Iowa Speedway Friday. Tonight, he'll become the first three-time guest on "Inside ARCA" with host Charlie Krall.
Bowman, who also drove the No. 22 Cunningham Motorsports Dodge to wins at Salem and Winchester Speedways in Indiana earlier this year, will be the first guest on tonight's program, which will air at 7 p.m. on ARCARacing.com.
Bowman stands third in the points behind two-time race winners Chris Buescher and Brennan Poole. Bowman has been stellar in his 13 starts in the ARCA Racing Series dating back to last August, with wins in five.
Clay Rogers runs a limited schedule in the ARCA Racing Series but makes the most of his opportunities behind the wheel; as such, he finished fourth in Friday's Prairie Meadows 200 after leading several laps. He will also appear on tonight's show and will reflect on his second race of 2012.
Cathy Venturini is among the most active people in the ARCA Racing Series as the listed owner of several contending teams. Through four races in the Hoosier Tire Superspeedway Challenge, Venturini owns both of the top two cars in the award standings. Venturini Motorsports celebrates its 30th Anniversary Season this year, and in going to Chicagoland Speedway for Saturday's Ansell ActivArmr 150, is making a trip home. The Venturinis hail from Chicago, and it was 25 years ago that the Windy City-based group won a championship for the first time with Cathy's husband, Bill Venturini, driving. Cathy led the all-female Ultra Blue Crew in working on the famous No. 25 car.
Steve York, director of channel and vertical development for Ansell, will talk about the company's relationship with Menards and ARCA as part of the Menards vendor program in the ARCA Racing Series. Ansell will be the title sponsor of Saturday's race, and has sponsored races in three previous years.
Krall hosts "Inside ARCA" every Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET, unless scheduled otherwise.
