Gregory and Sponsor to Join Coulter Motorsports

gregory12candid.jpg(BATON ROUGE, La. - July 31, 2012) - Aleks Gregory and sponsor The Mosquito Patch will join Coulter Motorsports for at least three races in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards this season, according to a team press release.

Gregory will compete in the team's No. 61 The Mosquito Patch Chevrolet in Saturday's Pennsylvania ARCA 125 at Pocono Raceway.

"I am really excited; I can't believe I am a part of Coulter Motorsports," said the 23-year-old Gregory in the release. "They have an excellent team and they are, in my opinion, one of the most successful teams in ARCA right now. It seems like every time they are at the race track they have a top-five car."

Since their humble beginnings in 2009, Coulter Motorsports has grown to become one of the premier driver development programs in the ARCA Racing Series. Through their program, Coulter Motorsports has accumulated over 20 wins in series ranking from ASA late models, the FASTRUCK Series, late model stocks, super late models, and the ARCA Racing Series.

"Coulter Motorsports is pleased to welcome Aleks Gregory and partner The Mosquito Patch to our driver lineup and racing family," said Coulter Motorsports owner Joe Coulter. "Aleks has proven himself at every level of competition he has raced in and we look forward to helping him grow and contend in the ARCA Racing Series."

Prior to pairing with Coulter Motorsports, the Baton Rouge, La. native, made four ARCA Racing Series starts in 2012 (Daytona International Speedway, Talladega Superspeedway, Pocono Raceway, and most recently Michigan International Speedway), his debut season of ARCA competition. Now, combining the resources, experience, and talent of the Coulter Motorsports team with Gregory's rookie talent, The Mosquito Patch Chevrolet looks to be an immediate threat on race day.

"Coulter Motorsports truly has a great team assembled and it shows out on the track," said Gregory. "I am really excited to be working with (crew chief) Skip Eyler and all the guys on this Coulter Motorsports team. I met (team owner) Joe Coulter when I was up at the shop last week, and he's a genuinely nice person, an all-around great guy whose passion for motorsports truly shows both in the shop and at the track. There aren't enough words to express how good this Coulter Motorsports team is. I am really excited to be working with them. I know that our No. 61 The Mosquito Patch Chevrolet will be competitive and in the front of the pack."
