bowman99carnns.jpg(CONCORD, N.C. - September 20, 2012) - One week after his NASCAR Nationwide Series debut at Chicagoland Speedway, Alex Bowman will be back in the series at Kentucky Speedway.

After making his first start Saturday for Turner Motorsports and finishing 17th before flying to Salem, Ind. to finish fifth in the ARCA Racing Series event, Bowman will be at Kentucky this Saturday to team with RAB Racing with Brack Maggard in the No. 99 Toyota, with sponsorship from Penserra Securities and Allegiant Air.

Bowman, 19, is currently fourth in the ARCA Racing Series standings with two races to go. He has three wins this season for Cunningham Motorsports and leads the Team Messina Rookie Challenge. His first laps this weekend at Kentucky will be his first on the 1.5-mile oval.

"I am looking forward to working with (team owner) Robby Benton and everyone at RAB Racing this weekend," Bowman said. "I've been friends with Robby for a while, so it will be a great experience to drive for him. I feel like we have the potential to have a strong run. This team has great equipment, so hopefully we will come out of this weekend with a top-10 finish. Though I have never raced at Kentucky Speedway before, I have watched enough races there to know that the track has a lot of character, and I am anxious to get to experience it for myself."

Crew chief Scott Zipadelli will lead Bowman's effort Saturday; in five races at Kentucky, Zipadelli has led three top-10 efforts.

The race will air live on ESPN at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.
