ARCA CRA Super Series in Indianapolis Sunday

(INDIANAPOLIS - September 28, 2012) - Thirty cars are entered for 26 starting spots at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis, as the ARCA CRA Super Series closes in on its second event of 2012 at the suburban oval.

Sunday's Jack Link's Beef Jerky 100 will bearcacrasuperseries.jpg another step for Johnny VanDoorn as he aims to seal the 2012 championship in ARCA's newest developmental division. VanDoorn leads Kenzie Ruston by 195 points entering the weekend's action, and only one event remains after Sunday.

First, though, VanDoorn will have to travel to Indianapolis from Toledo, Ohio, where he will race in the Glass City 200.

In July at Lucas Oil, 14-year-old Kyle Benjamin became the youngest feature winner in Super Series history.

Practice for the 100-lap race will begin Saturday, and Sunday's race is scheduled as part of a larger show which will feature action from multiple CRA divisions.
