(WINCHESTER, Ind. - October 13, 2012) - Not only will female stock car sensation Kenzie Ruston celebrate her 21st birthday this weekend, but she will also race in the season-ending Winchester 400 in the ARCA CRA Super Series with a special message on board.
This weekend, Ruston is racing in benefit of Racing 2 Cure.
"We have been huge supporters of Racing 2 Cure since its inception," she said, "and I'm excited to have them on board for the biggest race of the ARCA CRA Super Series season."
The Oklahoma native has her focus set on the checkered flag as she prepares for 400 laps around one of the most historic race tracks in the country.
"The Winchester 400 is an amazing race,' she said. "There is such history that is intertwined within those 400 laps. We are partnered with Racing 2 Cure and have a special treat for the fans to show our support for such a great cause."
Indeed, fans will be treated to a colorful, one-of-a-kind pink design on Ruston's No. 39 car in support of breast cancer awareness and Racing 2 Cure.
Ruston will go into Winchester sitting second in the ARCA/CRA Super Series points standings. She has had a strong year in the ARCA CRA Super Series, and plans to build on her season at Winchester Speedway.
"I'm really excited to return to Winchester and give the 400 another try. We ran well last year until getting involved in an accident, but we feel like we are a lot better going into this year's 400."
