(TOLEDO, Ohio - October 24, 2012) - Just over one week remains in the application process for $2000 in scholarship money from ARCA's Bob Loga Memorial Scholarship Fund.
Loga (pictured) began his career as an ARCA official in 1962 and acted as ARCA president from 1990 until his death at 55 years old in April 1996. Loga's work in ARCA helped the racing organization grow significantly.
Two scholarships will be awarded. The first recipient will receive $1500, and the second will receive $500. The awards will be presented at the ARCA Racing Series Championship Awards Banquet on Saturday, December 8, at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.
Recipients will be selected based on college entrance test scores, high school grades, recommendations, and a brief essay describing educational and career aspirations.
