(CHARLOTTE, N.C. - January 24, 2013) -- Chase Elliott will return to the ARCA Racing Series
presented by Menards in 2013, running a limited schedule in a driver
development car through Hendrick Motorsports.
Hendrick Motorsports made the announcement this week on
its Web site. Elliott, 17, is the son of NASCAR champion Bill Elliott.
According to the Web site, Elliott will run ARCA races at
Pocono Raceway (June 8), Road America (June 22), New Jersey Motorsports Park
(July 28), Pocono Raceway (Aug. 2) and Kentucky Speedway (Sept. 20). For

He made six ARCA Racing Series starts in 2012, with a
career-best finish of second on the New Jersey Motorsports Park road course. He
finished in the top 10 in all of the races he entered and won a Menards Pole
presented by Ansell at Salem Speedway.
The Dawsonville, Ga. native will also enter nine NASCAR
Camping World Truck Series events in 2013 and is among the entries for the ARCA/CRA
SpeedFest 200 this weekend (January 26-27) at Watermelon Capital Speedway in Cordele, Ga. He will drive an
Aaron’s/HendrickCars.com car in the event.
