(TOLEDO, Ohio – Oct. 28, 2013) – The ARCA Racing Series
presented by Menards post-season banquet is a little more than a month away, but
there is still racing going on. Here’s a look back at some of the racing that
took place over the weekend:
Brian Campbell and Justin South were winners over the
weekend in the ARCA/CRA Super Series and JEGS/CRA All Stars Tour races at
Memphis International Raceway. Campbell won the 125-lap ARCA/CRA Super Series Powered
by JEGS event. The track, in Millington, Tenn., hosted racing for the first
time since 2009.
The ARCA/CRA Super Series will host a second non-points
event in Tennessee this weekend when it joins the Southern Super Series at the
0.596-mile, high-banked oval at the Fairgrounds Speedway in Nashville. The 29th
annual All-American 400 weekend will be Nov. 1-2.
IN OTHER RACING NEWS FROM THE WEEEKND:
Bubba Wallace won the
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series event at Martinsville. Wallace made his
Daytona International Speedway debut in a Venturini Motorsports car in the 2013
ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards race at Daytona in February.
Todd Kempf of Huntingburg, Ind. won the 25th annual Smoker Friendly Discount Tobacco Halloween 200 at Salem Speedway Fueled by The Hoosier Lottery Sunday. Brett Hudson and Blake Hillard - both of whom made starts in the ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards this past season - finished second and third. Salem will host the Redneck Enduro 100 Sunday.
