Bryan Silas is making progress from last year. He's had three eighth place finishes, which ties his career best and has had runs better than that but hasn't been able to show it on the final results agate. He just needs to keep getting top-15's and keep learning. |

Bryan posts his best finishes on the short tracks but consistent finishes will come gradually as he acquires more laps in the ARCA RE/MAX Series. This team is making progress--Bryan already has the same number of top-10 finishes that he had last year--but they will need to step it up if they want to compete against this year's strong base of full time competitors. |

Improving, for sure, and is a racey kid learning how to manhandle 3,400lb. race cars. Consistency with set-ups will equate to consistent runs in the top-10. Sometimes luck is made, and this team needs to make more of their own luck. Consistently hit the set-up during the race, need to get rid of in-race gremlins and improve on qualifying, which gets better pit selection, less cars to have to pass once the car is dialed-in |

Bryan has had good runs when he has been able to keep the race car in one piece. Accidents at Daytona and Rockingham have really cut into Bryan's point totals. When not involved in mishaps on the track the Fast Track Racing team has given adaquate equipment. Three best finishes of eighth and no laps lead this year shows that this is a team that has not yet come together. |

Brian's three top tens are offset by a couple of accident caused DNF's
and a 27th place finish at Toledo. The team's goal is to finish in the top
ten in points and they currently sit 12th. Brian tied his best finish of
the season - 8th - last time the Series went to Kentucky. The team needs
to take what they learned there and get to work.

I give myself a B + because I still have a few things to learn as a driver but I give the team an A because Jeff [McClure, crew chief] does a great job and the whole crew works their tails off. |
