(7-29-08, 9 a.m.)--ARCA Chaplain Bill Krick has been released from the hospital and is resting comfortably at his home in North Carolina. Further medical updates on Krick's condition are available at the Focus Motorsports Minisitries Website, http://www.focusmm.org/default.asp.

MARNE MI (7-26-08)--ARCA Chaplain Bill Krick remains hospitalized following heart surgery earlier this week but the ARCA community continues to support the long-time champlain of Focus Motorsports Ministries. Saturday afternoon at Berlin Raceway, ARCA members Andy Belmont, Mark Gibson and Mike Allgaier led the charge.
Belmont, Gibson and Allgaier, who have been long-time supporters of Krick's ministry, updated the ARCA family on Krick's condition and spoke of hope. They also led a forum discussing ways to raise funds for the Krick family as Bill embarks on a long recovery process.
(7-25-08, 10 a.m.)--Per family (Diana and daughters), Bill Krick is making steady improvement and his recovery process is on schedule as expected. Bill is expected to move from post-op/recovery area to a regular hospital room on Friday. He is conscious and alert for longer periods of time and is anticipating to be released from the hospital to go home as early as Sunday or Monday.
(7-24-08, 9 a.m.)--According to Diana Krick, Bill Krick is no longer on a ventilator and is coherent and doing very well in relation to the unexpected length and complications of his surgery. Messages of support from ARCA members have served as a source of great strength for Bill, Diana and their children during this difficult time.
(7-23-08, 6:30 p.m.)--Information provided by Diana Krick indicates that Bill Krick has emerged from a difficult and longer-than anticipated heart by-pass surgery. He is heavily sedated and on a ventilator for the next 48 hours but is progressing as would-be anticipated, based on the complications of the surgery.
The Focus Motorsports Ministries Service, typically administered by Bill Krick, will be hosted by a group of ARCA RE/MAX Series car owners, including Mike Allgaier, Andy Belmont and Mark Gibson, this Saturday at Berlin Raceway. The service will take place 30 minutes before the driver's meeting at Berlin. It is anticipated that at that time, efforts by those interested in assisting the Krick family at this difficult time can be discussed and coordinated.
ARCA Chaplain Bill Krick will be undergoing heart surgery Wednesday, July 23 at the Carolina Medical Center in Concord, North Carolina. According to his wife Diana, Chaplain Bill didn't feel well at the last race at Kentucky Speedway. Upon his return home, he followed up with doctors, who have now scheduled him in for the surgery.
