TOLEDO, Ohio (August 11, 2009)--Students seeking the opportunity to earn a part of the annual $10,000 University of Northwestern Ohio Scholarship Fund have begun to submit applications to the ARCA Office.
UNOH, the official and exclusive educational sponsor of ARCA, annually offers one-year scholarships to a qualified individual or individuals. A total of $10,000 in funds is available this year, to be distributed to one individual or split up among a group of recipients, at UNOH's discretion. The scholarships will be presented at the ARCA RE/MAX Series Championship Awards Banquet at the Northern Kentucky Convention Center in Covington, Kentucky, on Saturday, December 5.
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be an ARCA Member or immediate family member 25 years of age or younger and possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent. The Applicant must send, in writing, their name (along with the name of immediate family member who is an ARCA Member if applicant is not an ARCA Member), address, phone number and a brief essay of approximately one page or less describing why the applicant is deserving of consideration for the scholarship. Please forward essay to ARCA, P.O. Box 5217, Toledo, OH 43611. All applications must be received by ARCA no later than November 15, 2009.
The successful applicant will be determined and selected by the University of Northwestern Ohio Admissions Criteria and Scholarship Committee.
