Some people love it, some people hate but I'm pretty sure that varies depending which end you come out on. I'm talking about re-draws and inversions after qualifying. For twenty-one year old Justin Schroeder and his family owned race team, JMS Racing, it seems the last two weeks the "inversion lottery" has not been to their advantage.

TOLEDO OH (3-31-08)--There's something about walking into Frenchtown Square Mall in Monroe and Westfield Franklin Park in Toledo at this time of year and seeing the freshly-painted, sharp-looking race cars on display in the concourse, signaling the fast-approaching racing seasons at Flat Rock Speedway and Toledo Speedway.
Well, maybe everyone doesn't get quite as excited as the rest of us, but fans, officials and race teams are getting ready to go as both mall shows this past weekend stirred the thoughts of burning rubber as ARCA's short tracks get ready to kick off their 2008 racing seasons. Healthy crowds visited the two venues this past weekend, while more than 75 drivers were seen roaming the malls, checking out the new paint schemes and bench racing with their fellow racers and teams as curious mall patrons checked out the cars that dotted the mall concourses.

TOLEDO, OH (3-28-08)--Flat Rock and Toledo Speedway are proud to announce the return of a majority of the race car division sponsors for the upcoming 2008 season, the addition of one new title sponsor and the new association with several companies at both tracks.
Moran Chevrolet of Clinton Township, MI and Miller Lite, through O & W, Inc. of Ypsilanti, will again return as co-sponsors of the ARCA Late Model class at Flat Rock Speedway. The duo begins its second year of title sponsorship of the super-fast, sleek Late Models at the ¼ mile paved oval. Moran Chevrolet has been involved with the division for several years, backing Dick Barker's #25. O & W, Inc. is in its second season of sponsorship at "The Rock". The new kid on the block will serve as the sponsor for Flat Rock's ultra-competitive Street Stocks, to be known as the Greater Detroit Auto Auction Street Stocks. Michael Haddon of the auctions, with locations in Port Huron and the Romulus business, just 5 miles north of the track, became involved with Flat Rock last season as the Winner's Circle sponsor.
