Several drivers that raced in the ARCA Menards Series Lucas Oil 200 at Daytona International Speedway will return to action this weekend in the season opener for the NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series, including race winner Harrison Burton and runner-up Todd Gilliland.
Burton (No. 20 DEX Imaging Toyota) and Gilliland (No. 4 Frontline Enterprises Toyota) will both run the full season for Kyle Busch Motorsports. Burton will pilot the No. 18 SafeLite Auto Glass Toyota, while Gilliland will take the reins on the No. 4 JBL Audio Toyota. Fourth-place finisher Christian Eckes (No. 15 JBL Audio Toyota) is competing for the ARCA Menards Series title in 2019, but will race a partial season in the Truck Series; he will be the third Kyle Busch Motorsports truck, the No. 51 Sirius XM Toyota, at Daytona.
Sixth-place finisher Natalie Decker (No. 54 N29 Capital Technologies Toyota) will make her Truck debut driving for DGR-Crosley Racing. Seventh-place finisher Codie Rohrbaugh (No. 7 Grant County Mulch Chevrolet) will also drive for his family-owned team in the Truck opener.
Eight-time ARCA Daytona winner Bobby Gerhart (No. 5 Lucas Oil Chevrolet) will run the No. 63 Chevrolet on Friday night. Tyler Dippel (No. 52 TyCar Ford) will contend for the 2019 Truck Series rookie of the year award in the No. 02 Chevrolet for Youngs Motorsports. His teammate Gus Dean (No. 32 Baker Distributing Chevrolet) will pilot the No. 12 LG Electronics Chevrolet and also chase after the series rookie of the year award.
The NASCAR Gander Outdoors Truck Series kicks off on Friday night live on FS1 starting at 7:30 pm ET.
