General Tire Music City 200 presented by Inspectra Thermal Solutions Post-race Notes

Christian Eckes (No. 15 JBL Audio Toyota) earned his fourth ARCA Menards Series victory in the General Tire Music City 200, moving him into a tie for 93rd on the series’ all-time winners list. Eckes was the 329th winner in the history of the series when he won for the first time in his career at Salem in 2018. Other drivers who have four career ARCA Menards Series wins include defending series champion Sheldon Creed, Kerry Earnhardt, long-time ARCA driver Mark Gibson, Ben Hess, and current Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series drivers Michael McDowell and Ryan Newman.

Ty Gibbs (No. 18 Monster Energy/ORCA Coolers/Terrible Herbst/Advance Auto Parts Toyota) matched his career-best finish with his second runner-up finish in three series starts. Gibbs finished second in his series debut at Five Flags Speedway in March.

Kaden Honeycutt (No. 38 C&S Trailers Ford) earned his best career series finish when he crossed the stripe in seventh. His previous best career run was earlier this season at Five Flags when he finished ninth.

Newcomer Lexi Gay (No. 44 Gordo’s Cheese Dips & Salsa Ford) made her ARCA Menards Series debut in the General Tire Music City 200 presented by Inspectra Thermal Solutions but was eliminated after an early race incident and scrape with the turn two wall. Gay was teammates with Thad Moffitt at Empire Racing. It wasn’t all bad for the 17-year-old from Canton, Georgia as she received her high school diploma during pre-race ceremonies.

Thad Moffitt (No. 46 Transportation Impact Chevrolet) matched his best career finish with a ninth-place run at Nashville. The race was a last-minute addition to his schedule as he’s slated to run the superspeedway events for Empire Racing this season. Moffitt’s other ninth-place run was at Toledo in 2018.

Defending ARCA/CRA Super Series champion defeated a stout 33-car starting field to score the win in a rough-and-tumble 100-lapper for the ARCA/CRA Super Series, Southern Super Series, and CARS Tour super late models after the conclusion of the ARCA Menards Series 200-lapper on Sunday. Brock held off a furious charge from Donnie Wilson to score the win.

Former NASCAR competitor and ARCA winner at Pocono Casey Atwood was spotted in the paddock area on Saturday before the rains came.
