DefendingCharlotte Winner Brandon Jones to Join FS1 Broadcast of General Tire 150

NASCAR XFINITY Series driver and five-time ARCA Menards Series winner Brandon Jones will join the FS1 broadcast team for the May 23 General Tire 150 at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Jones won the 2018 running of the race, which was the first ARCA event held at Charlotte in 14 years. Jones won his first two starts in the ARCA Menards Series in 2014, beating eventual series champion Mason Mitchell in a fender-banging last lap shootout at Winchester Speedway to win in his series debut and following it up with another short track victory at Lucas Oil Raceway. He also won at Michigan International Speedway in 2016 and 2017.

Driver of the No. 19 Menards/Juniper Networks Toyota for the powerhouse Joe Gibbs Racing team, Jones is currently 12th in the NXS standings with two top-five and five top-ten finishes. Jones’ JGR teammate Kyle Busch, the 2015 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series champion, is a three-time ARCA Menards Series winner.

Jones will join Dave Rieff and Phil Parsons in booth to give a current driver’s perspective throughout the broadcast. They will be joined by Dillon Welch on pit road. The broadcast of the General Tire 150 from Charlotte will start at 9 pm ET on Thursday, May 23.
