Practice for the General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200 at Pocono Raceway has been delayed. A brief but unexpected early morning shower interrupted track drying efforts from last night’s heavy rains. Track officials started drying efforts at 6:30 this morning and had made significant progress and are close to getting the track ready even with this morning’s brief shower. ARCA Menards Series officials are hopeful cars will be on track by 9:15 am ET. As of now, no other adjustments to the day’s schedule have been made. Check ARCARacing.com for updates.
UPDATE 9:10 am ET: ARCA Menards Series officials have updated the schedule for the day as follows: Practice, 9:30-10:15 am ET; General Tire Pole Qualifying, 12:15 pm ET; General Tire #AnywhereIsPossible 200, 5:30 pm ET. These adjustments are contingent on the racetrack being dry and ready for racecars at 9:30.Â
UPDATE 10:10 am ET: Practice remains on hold as track drying efforts are underway. The next schedule update is scheduled for 10:30 am ET.
UPDATE 10:30 am ET: ARCA officials have called drivers to their cars as track drying efforts are coming to a close. Practice is expected to begin sometime before 10:45 am ET and will run for one hour.
