• Iowa Speedway is just 1 hour and 45 minutes away from the World’s Largest Truck Stop, Iowa 80, located in Walcott, Iowa. Over 5,000 people visit daily, and there is parking for 900 trucks. The site employs 450 people. It serves 1 million cups of coffee annually, has 24 private showers for drivers, and a driver’s lounge with a fireplace. It even has a dentist’s office. Iowa is also home to the world’s second-largest frying pan. Measuring in at 14 feet, 3 inches, it is just three inches short of being the world’s largest. Bummer to whomever forgot to add the final 3.1 inches.
