LOUDON, N.H. — Sam Mayer’s rookie stripes aren’t showing in 2019.
The Franklin, Wisconsin native and Bristol winner laid down the quickest overall lap (30.182 seconds) in a pair of K&N Pro Series East practice sessions at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in preparation for the United Site Services 70.

Max McLaughlin (30.394), Riley Herbst (30.430), 2018 fall NHMS winner Brandon McReynolds (30.574) and Chase Cabre (30.584) completed the top five quickest speeds.

Tanner Gray, Spencer Davis, championship leader Derek Kraus, Colin Garrett and Drew Dollar rounded out the top 10.

Dollar’s team will be racing in a back-up for tomorrow’s event, as the Atlanta native hit the wall after getting loose during one of his practice runs.

Making his second career K&N start and first on the East coast, Bill McAnally Racing’s Lawless Alan was 12th quickest and turned the most laps (62). His teammates Hailie Deegan and Brittney Zamora were 13th and 14th, respectively.
The NASCAR K&N Pro Series East returns to the track for qualifying at 7:05 p.m. on Friday evening. The United Site Services 70 will go green at approximately 6:45 p.m. Saturday evening. FansChoice.TV will have live coverage of the event.
