Josh Berry Joins Visconti Motorsports

Visconti Motorsports will have a new driver behind the wheel of their No. 74 The Reichert Group Chevrolet next weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

“Due to a scheduling conflict, Brandon McReynolds will not be driving our No. 74 Reichert Group Chevrolet at New Hampshire next weekend. Josh Berry of JR Motorsports will be driving for us,” team owner John Visconti III told NASCAR.com.

Berry currently competes for JR Motorsports in the CARS Tour and sits second in the standings. He won the first heat race at Myrtle Beach Speedway last weekend in the Whelen All-American Series.

He also will have an increased role in VMS‘ program for 2020, helping newly signed Giovanni Bromante in his transition to the K&N Pro Series East.

“Going into next season, Josh will be the driver coach for Visconti Motorsports‘ Giovanni Bromante,” Visconti III said. “Berry will also run some limited races in our third car on the tracks that Giovani cannot run.”

McReynolds gave the team their only win to date last season at New Hampshire, and has three top 10 finishes this season. Their other driver, Parker Retzlaff, recently earned his best career finish at Worldwide Technology Raceway of fifth.

The Apple Barrel 125 is scheduled to go green on Saturday, September 21 at 1:20 p.m. EST from NHMS.
