At Bristol Motor Speedway earlier this season, Mayer repeated today’s feat of being quickest in practice and qualifying on the pole. He followed that up with leading all 150 laps and winning the race.
When he takes the green flag, he will clinch the championship and become the youngest champion in NASCAR regional series history.
DGR-Crosley teammates Tanner Gray (23.489), Drew Dollar (23.778) and Todd Gilliland (23.783) qualified second, third and fourth, respectively, with Spencer Davis (23.991) fifth.
Ruben Garcia Jr., Brandon McReynolds, Chase Cabre, Justin S. Carroll and Sam Hunt completed the top 10.
