BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — With his first career K&N Pro Series West title within reach, Derek Kraus took one step closer to securing that championship on Saturday.
The Stratford, Wisconsin native earned his second pole of the season, eighth of his career and first at Kern County Raceway Park with his 18.282-second lap.

Trevor Huddleston (18.346), Hailie Deegan (18.363), Brittney Zamora (18.407) and Jagger Jones (18.491) rounded out the top five. Brad Kossow, Jack Wood, Todd Souza, Travis Milburn and Dylan Garner completed the top 10.
