Three Drivers with ARCA Ties to JGR in 2020; Colby Howard to Join Ty Majeski as ARCA Drivers Making Truck Debuts at ISM Raceway

Three drivers with ties to the ARCA Menards Series will fill out the NASCAR XFINITY Series lineup for powerhouse Joe Gibbs Racing in 2020.

Brandon Jones will return to the No. 19 Toyota, and he will be joined by Harrison Burton in the No. 20, and newly-announced Riley Herbst in the No. 18.

Jones won in his first two ARCA Menards Series starts in 2014, and has a total of five career series victories. Burton also won in his series debut at Toledo Speedway in 2017, one of three career victories for the son of former NASCAR Cup Series star and current NASCAR on NBC analyst Jeff Burton. Herbst, the 2017 ARCA Menards Series Bounty Rookie of the Year, will make the leap after splitting his season between ARCA, where he shared a JGR ride with Ty Gibbs, NASCAR Gander Outdoors Trucks for Kyle Busch Motorsports, and the NASCAR XFINITY Series.

In other news, part-time ARCA Menards Series driver Colby Howard will make his NASCAR Gander Trucks debut at ISM Raceway with Youngs Motorsports as a teammate with two-time ARCA winner Gus Dean. As previously announced, three-time ARCA winner in 2019 Ty Majeski will also make his Gander Trucks debut alongside Ross Chastain at Niece Motorsports. Majeski will also compete in Saturday’s NASCAR K&N Pro Series West finale for Chad Bryant Racing.
