The ARCA Menards Series has taken up camp in the Circle City…
First, the series will be represented at the annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show in the Indiana State Convention Center in downtown Indianapolis. Venturini Motorsports will have a unique car on display, celebrating their dual championships in 2019, with half of the car representing Christian Eckes’s No. 15 JBL Audio Toyota and the other half representing the No. 20 Craftsman Toyota that earned the title for car owner Billy Venturini in the owner’s standings. With ARCA sanctioning the former NASCAR K&N Pro Series tours in 2020 as the ARCA Menards Series East and West, 2019 East champion Sam Mayer’s No. 21 Chevy Accessories Chevrolet will also be on display.
There will also be an ARCA Ilmor 396 engine and a Robert Yates Racing NASCAR spec engine on display as well.
The trade show runs from Thursday, December 12 through Saturday, December 14 and is open to all members of the motorsports industry. It is not open to the general public.
Once the trade show winds down, the attention then turns to celebrating the 2019 ARCA Menards Series season with the annual Championship Awards Banquet, also held at the convention center in the glamorous Sagamore Ballroom.
Eckes and Venturini will be honored as series champions and Tommy Vigh, Jr. will also be honored as the Bounty Rookie of the Year. The evening starts with a cocktail reception presented by K&K Insurance and Sunoco at 4 pm ET. Doors to the banquet open at 5:15 and the program will start promptly at 5:30.
