LAS VEGAS — It doesn’t matter which coast he’s racing on, Sam Mayer is atop the leaderboard.
The reigning ARCA Menards Series East champion and winner last week at New Smyrna was quickest in both 45-minute practice sessions at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, where he’ll be making his first series start.

Jesse Love (14.988), Gio Sclezi (15.003), Gracie Trotter (15.107) and Trevor Huddleston (15.121) rounded out the top five quickest speeds, with Todd Souza, Joey Iest, Austin Reed, Blaine Perkins and Holley Hollan completing the top 10.
