Bomber Eyewear is a sponsor of Visconti Motorsports.

“They are out of California and they are a sponsor of ours,” Visconti said. “They made floating eyewear for surfers and boaters and if you lose a pair when you’re out on the water they float so you don’t lose them. And they’re pretty cool looking. The owner, Tommy Bonacci, reached out to me to ask if he could be of any assistance.

“One of my team members, Bill Goffin, who also lives up here in New York is the supervisor of all of the EMTs and ambulances in the city of the New York. He is instrumental in moving around hundreds of EMTs and ambulances around New York every day. I asked him if there was anything Bomber could to help and he said absolutely. They have to wear safety glasses any time they are with a patient and they are running ragged. Bomber sent us hundreds and hundreds of safety glasses to distribute through Bill and his safety guys.”

“We don’t want to sound selfish and want a lot of the attention,” he said. “But we want all of the companies that are out there involved in racing who are stepping up to help to get this attention. Maybe this story helps draw some attention to other partners who are helping people get through this.”

Visconti added that Bomber Eyewear is offering a 50% discount to any healthcare worker on any of their products nationwide through BomberEyewear.com.

Visconti Motorsports opened the 2020 ARCA Menards Series East season with a fifth-place finish at New Smyrna Speedway with Sunoco Rookie of the Year contender Giovanni Bromante at the wheel. The team earned its first East Series win in 2018 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway with Brandon McReynolds driving.
