ARCA Menards Series West Returning to LVMS Bullring on September 26

General Tire 150 Relocated from Sonoma; Part of Big NASCAR Weekend in Las Vegas

TOLEDO, Ohio – The ARCA Menards Series West race originally scheduled for Sonoma Raceway on June 13 has been relocated to the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, now set for Saturday, Sept. 26. The General Tire 150 will be streamed live at 3 p.m. ET/noon PT on TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold and shown on a delayed basis on NBCSN.

The race will be limited to essential personnel only, no spectators.

The addition of the ARCA Menards Series West brings another event to what is already scheduled to be a busy weekend at LVMS. The weekend’s activities are scheduled to open with the NASCAR Gander RV & Outdoors Truck Series World of Westgate 200 on Friday, September 25 (FS1, 9 pm ET), followed by the NASCAR XFINITY Series Alsco 300 on Saturday (NBCSN, 7:30 pm ET), with the NASCAR Cup Series closing the weekend with the South Point 400 on Sunday (NBCSN, 7 pm ET).

“The re-purposing of the ARCA Menards Series West event originally scheduled for Sonoma Raceway in California on June 13 to the Bullring at LVMS on September 26 is a result of cooperative efforts among Speedway Motorsports, Inc., owner of Sonoma and LVMS, event entitlement sponsor General Tire, and ARCA,” said ARCA president Ron Drager.

Jesse Love won the ARCA Menards West’s most recent race at Colorado National Speedway last Saturday. Love leads the series standings by seven points over runner up Blaine Perkins heading into the General Tire 150, which will be the eighth race of the 2020 West season.

ARCA is currently finalizing the remainder of the 2020 ARCA Menards Series West schedule, which concludes at Phoenix Raceway on Nov. 7.
