WINCHESTER, Ind. — Ty Gibbs backed up his fast time in practice with the top speed in qualifying Saturday afternoon at Winchester Speedway.
The 17-year-old won his fifth career General Tire Pole Award – and third of 2020 — with a lap of 15.685 seconds (114.759 mph) in his No. 18 Monster Energy/Terrible Herbst/ORCA Toyota around the banked half-mile.
ARCA Menards Series championship points leaders Michael Self was second fastest at 15.842 (113.622) in qualifying for the Toyota 200 presented by Crosley Brands. Jesse Love was third quick at 15.857 (113.515).

Bret Holmes, who trails Self by just one point, qualified fourth and Taylor Gray fifth.
Drew Dollar, Hailie Deegan, Mike Basham, Brad Smith and Eric Caudell rounded out the top 10.
The Toyota 200 presented by Crosley Brands is slated to take green flag at 3 p.m. ET. The race will stream live on TrackPass on NBC Gold, and air at 6 p.m. on MAVTV.
