QUALIFYING: Jesse Love Claims General Tire Pole Award At Bullring

LAS VEGAS — Jesse Love earned his third General Tire Pole Award of the season and picked up the valuable bonus point that goes with it in his chase for the ARCA Menards Series West title.

The 15-year-old posted the fastest time of 14.941 seconds (90.355) in his No. 19 NAPA Power Premium Plus Toyota over the one-hour session.

Love enters the weekend with a seven-point lead over Blaine Perkins with four races remainining.

He edged joey Iest, who was second fastest at 14.974 (90.156).

Sunrise Ford Racing teammates Trevor Huddleston (15.017/89.898) and Perkins were third and fourth quick, respectively. Kyle Keller, making his first series start, was fifth.

Gio Scelzi, Holley Hollan, Takuma Koga, Gracie Trotter and Todd Souza rounded out the top 10.

The General Tire 150 is scheduled for noon PT / 3 pm ET and will be streamed live on TrackPass on NBC Gold.
