ARCA Menards Series West 2021 Schedule To Include Races At Sonoma, Las Vegas Bullring

The 2021 ARCA Menards Series West schedule is taking shape with two races confirmed.

ARCA Menards Series West races at Sonoma Raceway and The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway are set, with the Sonoma date scheduled for Saturday, June 5, and the race at The Bullring slated for Thursday, Sept. 23. Both races will be held in conjunction with NASCAR Cup Series events.

Noah Gragson won the ARCA Menards Series West race at Sonoma in 2019, the last time the series raced on the hilly road course in Sonoma, California. The 2020 Sonoma race was moved to The Bullring at Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada, because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With her victory in that race in September, Gracie Trotter became the second female to win a West race and the first female to win on the ARCA Menards Series platform.

Trotter’s win in September marked the West Series’ second visit to The Bullring in 2020. Sam Mayer won the series’ season-opener at the third-mile paved oval on Feb. 20.

The 2021 events at Sonoma and The Bullring are the first two of what is expected to be an eight-race schedule for the West Series. It will be the second season the series, which dates back to 1954, will be a part of the ARCA Menards Series platform.
