Blaine Perkins, the 20-year-old who won three ARCA Menards Series West races last season and finished second to Jesse Love in the championship points standings, will take his talents to the NASCAR Xfinity Series on a limited basis in 2021.
The Bakersfield, California, native will race the No. 03 Chevrolet Camaro for Our Motorsports in the Xfinity Series, the team and the driver announced Monday.
It’s both an honor and a privilege to make my @NASCAR national series debut in the @NASCAR_Xfinity Series in 2021 with @OurMotorsports. My first race @MartinsvilleSwy can’t get here fast enough!#NASCAR #XfinitySeries #2021 pic.twitter.com/dqTDlOJXCa

Fox Sports reported Perkins will compete in six Xfinity Series races for Our Motorsports as series regular Brett Moffitt’s teammate. Perkins’ debut in the series will come at Martinsville Speedway on April 9.
Perkins, who ran the full schedule for Bob Bruncati’s Sunrise Ford Racing team in the West Series last season, has not yet announced ARCA Menards plans for 2021.
Including his three wins (Utah Motorsports Campus, Evergreen Speedway and Douglas County Speedway), Perkins earned eight top-fives and nine top 10s in 11 West Series races last year.
Perkins participated in last weekend’s ARCA Menards Series test at Daytona International Speedway as part of the series’ Road to Daytona program. He drove the No. 01 Fast Track Racing Toyota on Day 1 of the two-day test.
