Energy is building for the newly entitled Jeep Beach 175, the ARCA Menards Series East season-opener at Florida’s New Smyrna Speedway on Monday, Feb. 8.
This year’s East Series race at New Smyrna will mark the eighth time the series has visited the high-banked, half-mile oval located about a half an hour south of Daytona International Speedway.
Sam Mayer won last year’s race at New Smyrna, kicking off a season that saw him win five of six East Series races and clinch his second consecutive series championship.

The growing entry list for the season-opening Jeep Beach 175 includes DGR drivers Taylor Gray and Joey Iest, as well as a newcomer to the series in Rajah Caruth. The complete entry list for the New Smyrna race will be released at a later date.
Held each April, Jeep Beach is one of the world’s largest gatherings for Jeep owners and enthusiasts. Thousands of participants gather for a week-long festival on the white sands of the World’s Most Famous Beach and at Daytona International Speedway.
A registered 501c3 organization, Jeep Beach has raised almost $1.9 million for local charities, including The NASCAR Foundation and Victory Junction. This year’s JB21 will be held April 19-25.
The Jeep Beach 175 will be streamed live on TrackPass on NBC Sports Gold starting at 7:40 p.m. ET on Feb. 8. The race also will be shown on a delayed basis on NBCSN.
