Herr Foods will sponsor Saturday’s ARCA Menards Series race at Toledo Speedway, titled the Herr’s Potato Chips 200.
Almost a full year ago, it was Herr Foods that helped the series get back on track amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
Also titled the Herr’s Potato Chips 200, last year’s ARCA Menards Series East race at Toledo in June marked the series’ first event since that February. It also became the first live sporting event in northwest Ohio since the national health crisis set in that March.
Herr’s Potato Chips 200:
ARCA president Ron Drager, also the owner/promoter of Toledo Speedway, said that the June 13 event, won by Ty Gibbs, could not have happened without Herr’s support.

“One of the great things Herr’s has done since they’ve been a race entitlement sponsor is offer free samples at the track to the fans in attendance,” Drager said prior to the race that ran without a crowd. “We wish we had a grandstand full of people for this race so they could do that this weekend, but they are still going to offer free samples to customers at all three Toledo-area Menards locations. …
“Herr’s has been a great partner of ARCA for almost a decade, and we’re proud to welcome them to the ARCA Menards Series East family of sponsors.”
Herr Foods, a Nottingham, Pennsylvania-based brand of potato chips and other snack foods, has been a marketing partner with ARCA since 2012, partnering with series title sponsor Menards through a B2B partnership during that time.
The Menards partnership has helped Herr’s grow their business into the Midwest through distribution of the Menards 300-plus retail locations.

While their products are sold throughout the Eastern United States and Canada, their stronghold is the Mid-Atlantic region. Menards helped introduce the brand to the Midwest through the ARCA relationship, and now Herr’s products are sold in all 50 states in the U.S. and in over 40 countries.
Herr’s produces a wide variety of snack foods, including potato chips, pretzels, tortilla chips, cheese curls, popcorn and onion rings. They produce more than 50 different potato chip varieties, with an emphasis on strong and spicy flavors. Among their offerings are Ragin Ranch, Buffalo Blue Cheese, Old Bay, Horseradish, Baby Back Ribs, Kansas City steak, hot sauce and jalapeño in addition to more traditional varieties such as barbecue, kettle cooked, sour cream & onion, cheddar & sour cream, salt & pepper, Ketchup, Habanero and Creamy Ranch and salt & vinegar.
Saturday night’s Herr’s Potato Chips 200, the fifth race of the 2021 ARCA Menards Series season, is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. ET.
The race will broadcast live on MAVTV Motorsports Network with a live stream available on NBC Sports Gold’s TrackPass.
