TOLEDO, Ohio — Ty Gibbs led every lap in each of the last two ARCA Menards races he ran over the last month, and the 18-year-old will have a chance to go flag to flag again at Toledo Speedway on Saturday night.
Driving the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, Gibbs was the only driver to log a sub-16 second lap time in Saturday’s qualifying session ahead of the Herr’s Potato Chips 200. He earned his fourth consecutive General Tire Pole Award in the series with a lap time of 15.979 seconds (112.648 mph).
