ARCA Menards Series officials announce penalties for actions following Michigan race

On Thursday, Aug. 26, ARCA Menards Series officials announced penalties for actions following the recent race at Michigan International Speedway.

  • Based on non-compliant activities during and after the ARCA Menards Series race at Michigan International Speedway on Friday, Aug. 20, ARCA crew member Kevin Reed Sr. has been fined $500 and placed on probation for the remainder of the 2021 season for violation of 2021 ARCA Rulebook Section 12-8.1, which references ARCA Member Conduct Guidelines.
  • Based on violation of 2021 ARCA Rulebook Section 12-8.1, which references ARCA Member Conduct Guidelines including public statement and/or communication that criticizes, ridicules or otherwise disparages another person based upon that person’s race, color, creed, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, age or handicapping condition, ARCA crew member Kevin Reed Jr. has been fined $1,500 and suspended for an indefinite period of time.
  • Based on non-compliant activities in the garage area during the ARCA Menards Series race at Michigan International Speedway on Friday, Aug. 20, driver Drew Dollar has been fined $1,000 for violation of 2021 ARCA Rulebook Section 12-8, which references ARCA Member Conduct Guidelines.
