Visconti Motorsports, Donald Theetge partner for two ARCA Menards Series East races in 2022

Visconti Motorsports LLC and Theetge Motorsport are proud to announce a new partnership that will see veteran Donald Theetge drive the Visconti Motorsports No. 74 Toyota Camry for the first two races of the 2022 ARCA Menards Series East season, at Florida’s New Smyrna Speedway on Feb. 15 and at 5 Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida, on March 19.

Discussions are taking place for more races during the season, and announcements could be made later.

This partnership was made possible with the help of great sponsors like Groupe Theetge, XPN World, Bomber Eyewear, Mechanix Gloves and Lucas Oil Products. Both organizations are very proud of this partnership and looking forward to the start of the season.

Visconti Motorsports owner John Visconti III said he was thrilled by the partnership and is looking forward to the start of the season and to try to win some races. On his side, Theetge said he was very excited by the opportunity and that he can’t wait to get back on track.

Visconti Motorsports LLC is owned by John and Marie Visconti and dates back to the late 1950s when it was founded by John’s father, Cookie Visconti.

In 2015, John Visconti stepped into the team owner role in the Crate Modified Series at Riverhead Raceway, placing top fives in 15 of the 17 races and capturing their first win on the way.

The year 2018 was the team’s first in the East Series, and it would exceed all expectations. In seven races, the team earned six top-10 finishes, three top fives and a trip to Victory Lane at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
