Lowden-Jackson Motorsports adds Tyler Reif for ARCA East and West; R.J. Smotherman running full West season

LAS VEGAS – Lowden-Jackson Motorsports is proud to announce the addition of two new drivers to their team for the 2023 season.

Tyler Reif and R.J. Smotherman will join Chris Lowden as drivers for the team as they compete in the ARCA Menards Series East and ARCA Menards Series West.

Reif will be running the full ARCA Menards Series East and West schedules while Smotherman will run the full ARCA Menards Series West schedule and select ARCA Menards Series East events.

With big goals in mind, both drivers bring excitement, hunger and skills to Lowden-Jackson Motorsports, which is sure to help them make an impact on this year’s race season.

“We are very excited to have Tyler and R.J. join our team this year,” said Chris Lowden, co-owner with Tony Jackson of Lowden-Jackson Motorsports. “We know that their experience and enthusiasm for racing will be a great asset to our team. We look forward to seeing what they can do on the track this season.”

Dave and Matt Jackson will be bringing a wealth of experience and knowledge that will have a huge impact on the success of each driver.

Reif finished 12th the ARCA Menards Series West last fall at Phoenix Raceway and is pumped to get his season started beginning at Phoenix Raceway on March 10. Ron Norman will be the Car Chief for Reif in his No. 41 car this season.

Smotherman will be running the No. 46 car with Rip Michaels as his Car Chief. Smotherman had some electrical issues during his inaugural visit to Phoenix Raceway last November, finishing 41 laps down. He’s ready to make his comeback this season and has been putting in work everyday to prepare.
