For the second time this season, the ARCA Menards Series heads to Kansas Speedway this Friday evening for the running of the Sioux Chief Fast Track 150 (6 p.m. ET on FS1).
Kansas is the only venue on the 2023 ARCA Menards Series schedule to welcome the series twice in 2023. The track has been a regular part of the schedule dating back to 2001, when Jason Jarrett the first of two ARCA Menards Series victories during his racing career.
In the years since, a number of recognizable names have visited Victory Lane at the 1.5-mile speedway, including Frank Kimmel, Parker Kligerman, Ty Dillon, Alex Bowman, Mason Mitchell, Chase Briscoe, Sheldon Creed, Christian Eckes, Bret Holmes, Corey Heim, Ty Gibbs, Nick Sanchez and, most recently, Jesse Love earlier this season.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
Jesse Love continues to be the man to beat during the 2023 ARCA Menards Series season following his ninth victory of the season last Sunday evening at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds. He’ll look to make it 10 wins this year Friday at Kansas.
Love is the favorite to win the Sioux Chief Fast Track 150 after dominating the Dawn 150 at Kansas earlier this year. If he wins Friday, he’ll be the first driver to sweep both races at Kansas in a single season since ARCA began racing at the 1.5-mile speedway twice annually in 2020.
He’ll face stout competition from several drivers, including the one who finished second to him earlier this year, Dean Thompson. The driver from Anaheim, California is scheduled to make his fifth start of 2023 for Venturini Motorsports as a teammate to Love, Toni Breidinger and Jake Finch.

Kansas native Mandy Chick returns for her fourth race of the season this weekend in her family-owned No. 74. Cody Coughlin is also back in action in his own No. 72. Frankie Muniz will look to rebound from a rough day at DuQuoin with a strong run at Kansas aboard the No. 30 for Rette Jones Racing.
