ARCA to join NASCAR for a pair of race weekends at Kansas Speedway in 2024

The ARCA Menards Series will return to Kansas Speedway for a double dip of races in 2024.

The first will be part of a triple-header with the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Cup Series in May; the second will be a quadruple-header in September with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series also joining the card.

The ARCA Menards Series’ first 2024 race at Kansas, set for Saturday, May 4, will be the opening act of a same-day doubleheader with the Xfinity Series. The weekend will conclude on Sunday, May 5, with a 400-miler for the Cup Series.

In September, the ARCA Menards Series will open the three-day weekend with a same-day doubleheader with the Truck Series on Friday, Sept. 27. On Saturday, the Xfinity Series will race 300 miles, and on Sunday, the Cup Series will race 400 miles.

“Our relationship with Kansas Speedway goes back to the groundbreaking for the track in 1999,” said ARCA president Ron Drager. “We’ve raced there every year since the track opened in 2001, and we’ve raced there twice a year since 2020.

“The track itself, and the Midwest market it serves, have made it an important part of our schedule now for 23 years.”

Jason Jarrett, son of three-time Daytona 500 winner and 1999 Cup Series champion Dale Jarrett, won the track’s first ARCA Menards Series race in June of 2001. Other notable winners include 10-time series champion Frank Kimmel, who won three times at Kansas, including his record-breaking 80th career win in 2013; current Truck Series stars Christian Eckes, Corey Heim and Nick Sanchez; Xfinity Series regulars Parker Kligerman and Sheldon Creed; and Cup Series standouts Alex Bowman, Chase Briscoe and Ty Gibbs.

The complete 2024 ARCA Menards Series schedule will be announced at a later date.
