Lowden-Jackson Motorsports to field two cars in West Series season finale at Phoenix

LAS VEGAS — Lowden-Jackson Motorsports announced this week that Tillys has come on board as primary sponsor for their No. 41 and No. 46 entries this weekend at Phoenix Raceway for the ARCA Menards Series West season-ending Desert Diamond Casino West Valley 100.

“We’re really excited to have Tillys come on board,” stated Lowden. “We also have two new drivers in our cars this week.”

Justin Johnson will drive the No. 46 at Phoenix, a one-mile, low-banked tri-oval located in Avondale, Arizona. Johnson, who is currently in a record-breaking battle for the all-time most wins at the Bullring in Las Vegas, has his sights set and focused for this weekend in Phoenix.

“My focus is on this event,” he said. “My plan is to stay out of wrecks and be there at the end of the race. The last time I ran Phoenix was in a Camping World Truck Series race where I finished eighth.

“I have to thank Al Bud, Chris Lowden and the Jackson family for making this happen.”

The 41 car will be driven by Johnny Borneman lll.

“I’m excited to be back at Phoenix; it’s been two years,” said Borneman. “I’ve ran at Phoenix since 2000 (not consecutively) in the ARCA and Xfinity series. I’ve raced the old layout as well as the new layout. My personal goal is to finish in the top five and run competitively all day.

“I’ve known the Jacksons since the late 90s; they’ve always been great people. I’m excited to be able to work with them piloting the Tilly’s/Filter Time No. 41 ARCA car. Thanks to Chris and everyone at Lowden Jackson Motorsports for giving me the opportunity to pilot the No. 41 car. A special shout out to my wife and kids for always being my support system.”

From the car owner perspective: “I respect these two drivers, both very seasoned, accomplished and professional,” commented Chris Lowden. “My goal is to be competitive and put these two cars back in the trailer in one piece and of course have fun. Tony, Monica, Dave and Christopher Jackson, this whole team of talented, very hard working crew are to be thanked as well as our sponsors.
